I Already Have a Screenrights Account. Why Do I Need To Set Up MFA Again?

Authenticator apps use a private setup key shared between your phone and the login system. For security reasons, that key cannot be exported or copied from the old login system to the new one.

That means you need to scan a new QR code or set up SMS verification again.

Your old multi-factor authenticator code will no longer work.
